OMG. Great choice I’ve been gone there since 1974 and I always get the spaghetti because they’re so darn good but that lasagna looks great and chicken looking Maisie. I’ve got to try some I love too far away now and FYI I ordered the pizza the gold ones the pizza was even freaking amazing. Very hungry.

Looks like the portions look larger at Pappy's.. I will have to try both .......

Bread never, ever fails. For me, this would be the best way to visit Chinatown or anywhere else - when we'd have it mostly to ourselves. I just love how you always visit the out-of-the-way places. Nico is sooo adorable. Ice cream is a great way to end the day🍦

My wife and I go to the H-Mart there to get the oriental ingredients that I can't get in the south suburbs. We usually grab something to eat in the food court attached to the H-Mart before we shop. Good Korean, Japanese, and Chinese food places at a decent price. I don't recommend the conveyor belt sushi place that's across the parking lot though - too expensive for such poor quality sushi.

i like apple fritters too; but they have stopped putting ACTUAL APPLES in them; you are lucky if you get a tiny bit of low quality pie filling mixed in, and that's all anyyone uses. Prove me wrong, because its been 30 years since I saw a real apple fritter, and doubt I will ever see one again. Real food is a thing of the past, people just make processed garbage. The hash needs an upgrade at mitchells, but there is also no good hash made anymore; again, just processed garbage. You want quality food. time travel, or grow it yourself; because they don't sell it to us poor folks anymore. Any oyster sauce has no place on steaks.
